Northern Freeze vs K.C.C Volleyball 07 Sep 11

The Northern Freeze Volleyball team moved their record to 2 – 0 Tuesday night with a solid 3 to 1 win over the Kittson County Central Bearcats, 25-12, 18-25, 25-19, 25-22. The win was keyed by the strong serving of Madison Thompson. The Junior finished the night with 23 service points and 5 aces. At the net it was Junior Tori Davidson for the Freeze with 18 kills and 6 blocks. The Bearcats went down fighting. After losing game 1 they evened the match with a strong game 2 and went deep into games 3 and 4 before coming up short to lose their first match of the season. The 1 – 1 Bearcats were led by Senior Paige Craigmile with 12 kills and 3 blocks and Senior Megan Olsonowski with 19 service points. The Northern Freeze are back in action on Thursday at Badger-Greenbush-Middle River, while Kittson County Central is off until Saturday when they travel to a tournament in Ada.
