The Northern Freeze Girls Volleyball team moved their record to 3-0 Thursday night with a 25-17, 25-21, 25-9 win over the Gators of Badger-Greenbush-Middle River. After a realtively easy win in Game 1. The Freeze had to come from behind in Game 2, when the Gators jumped out to an 8-2 lead. Alate service run from Junior Madison Thompson and strong net palyed completed the comeback for a 2-0 lead. Game 3 was no contest as the more experienced Freeze built on the momentum of the Game 2 win to close the match out in three games. Thompson led all servers with 14 service points,while Sophomore Allyson Dahl added 9. The top server for the Gators was Sophomore Kate Howell with 5. At the net, Junior Tori Davidson had another big night with 14 kills and 4 blocks. While the Gators were held to 15 kills as a team. The win moves the Freeze to 3 and 0 the gators are now 0 and 3.
