The Stephen Argyle Storm pick up their first win by defeating the Northern Freeze 25-14 behind the running of Daniel Haugen. Haugen rushed for 300 yards on 31 carries and 3 Touchdowns. Haugens first touchdown came with 9:55 to go in the first quarter from 31 yards. With the extra point good, the storm lead 7-0. The Freeze would score when Beau Bothum threw a 5 yard Touchdown strike to Nic Olson, but the extra point was no good and the score going into halftime was 7-6 Storm leading… Two crucial turnovers in the second half by the Northern Freeze, a fumble and interception, were turned into points by the Storm that helped them get the win. Both teams had 4 turnovers, the Storm were penalized 9 times to just 2 flags for the Freeze. The Storm improve to 1-1 on the year while the Freeze drop to 1-1. Stephen Argyle will play EGFSH next and the Northern Freeze get the BGMR Gators.
