The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will depart the station in Rouses Point, New York later this month; its route once again this year to include a Prime Time Stop in Thief River Falls.
Setting out the Friday that follows Thanksgiving Day, the holiday favorite will make its way through New York, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin before a handful of stops in Minnesota – only a select number of those at night – including an 8pm arrival December 14th at the Historic Soo Line Depot – City Hall – in down town Thief River Falls.
Only 140 stops are planned for the beautifully lit train, the background for a Community Collection, as well as a Corporate Contribution, to the Local Food Shelf.
The CP Rail Holiday Train will include a box car stage and entertainers Willy Porter and Sydney Grigg – the event admission free. Everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the Food Shelf Collection.
