The holidays are all about reconnecting with friends, especially friends far away and we were happy to hear this weekend from long time listener, Kirk Benke from the Middle River / Holt Area – as he observed the Lunar Eclipse from his National Guard Post in Afghanistan.

Benke’s 1 year deployment will keep him overseas this Christmas driving and training military transport. He talked on the air Saturday with Program Director, Mark Allen, about the soldiers involved in his mission and he sent greetings to friends and family back home, with special love to his wife, Kim.
