The World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series wowed a capacity crowd at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Friday night, June 5th. 37 Sprint Cars were on hand for the event with local driver Mark Dobmeier leading the way with the quick time/fast lap in qualifying. In the feature event it was Kraig Kinser racing from the 10th starting position and passing his father “The King” Steve Kinser to win at “The Bullring.” Dobmeier was the top finishing local driver, finishing 6th in the field.

Finishing order in the 40-lap feature: 1. 11K-Kraig Kinser; 2. 11-Steve Kinser; 3. 7-Craig Dollansky; 4. 15-Donny Schatz ; 5. 5W-Lucas Wolfe; 6. 13-Mark Dobmeier; 7. 1-Sammy Swindell; 8. 6-Bill Rose; 9. 82-Justin Henderson; 10. 9-Joey Saldana; 11. 97G-Jason Linnell; 12. 8-Casey Mack; 13. 4-Cody Darrah; 14. 63-Chad Kemenah: 15. 29-Kerry Madsen; 16. 6C-Kaley Gharst; 17. 10TRB-Bob Martin; 18. 1K-Chris Shirek; 19. 91K-Kyle Fedyk; 20. 9N-Wade Nygaard; 21. 6N-Greg Nikitenko; 22. 25-Cory Mack; 23. 7S-Jason Sides; 24. 44W-Austen Wheatley. Lap Leaders: Dobmeier 1-12, S.Kinser 13-33, K.Kinser 34-40.

A 26 car Late Model field provided the support class for the World Of Outlaw event. Brad Seng of Grand Forks started 13th in the feature race, and charged hard to take the checkered flag in the final. Seng is the current points leader for the Late Model Division at River Cities Speedway.

Sammy Swindell would find Victory Lane in the World of Outlaw Race held Saturday night at the Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo.

The Premier Racing Series continues this Friday night at River Cities Speedway, featuring the Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Late Models and 410 Outlaw Sprints. Hot laps at 6:30pm with races starting at 7:30pm.
