… And he doesn’t make a bad burger either …

Newly appointed Park and Rec Director, Joe Amundson hosted a hastily re-organized Movie in the Park last night – taking the event indoors almost at the last moment, to the versatile Ralph Englestad Arena.

We found Amundson flipping burgers for a crowd of right around 250 as the Big Screen was reassembled inside the bowl of the arena Thursday night. Spectators found a seat and made a comfortable night of it, with a showing of the Kevin James comedy – The Zookeeper.

Amundson says the community will get a second chance at taking in the event outdoors, with a second Movie in the Park still scheduled, at Hartz Park, as part of the Park and Rec Entertainment Series in August.
