A Thief River Falls man is in custody accused of kidnapping, assault and criminal sexual conduct in an altercation that led to a Police Stand-Off that began Saturday and ended early Sunday.

26 year old Marcus Brian Williamson of Thief River Falls, was arrested without incident just before 4:30 Sunday morning, after officers forced a door at the residence, in the 100 block of Willow Road in Thief River Falls. The stand-off began Saturday afternoon as officers responded to a reported assault at the home earlier in the day.

Williamson is accused of holding a female victim against her will, assaulting her and threatening her with a gun. The victim was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls. None of our Police Officers or Williamson were injured in the stand-off.
