I wish they’d find my son’s brand-new bike that was stolen out of our front yard on the northwest side of town over two months ago. I guess slides are more important items.

I think its too bad that the slide was stolen, but why is it newsworthy? Just like you said, why is it more important than bikes that are stolen?

Stealing a slide is pretty bizarre and is kind of news worthy. Bikes that are left out in front yards get stolen all the time. Though I feel bad that the slide and wouldn’t want someone backing a truck into my yard and stealing, but I am kind of happy that this is the news story of the day. I am really tiring of really bad things like holding up taxis, and kidnapping ex-girlfriends in our small town

All citizens should be extremely excited that this is a news item. No one was killed,raped or kidnapped. Not to mention that it is not another city board disaster either. Yep ,theft sucks whether it is a bike or a slide.
