A second week of filings has brought more candidates into the mix ..

At Thief River Falls City Hall, Incumbent Conrad C Holten, #114 Kendall Avenue North, filed for re-election to represent Ward #4 on the Thief River Falls City Council. Newcomer Jerald Brown has also filed as a candidate in Ward #4.

Filing earlier for City Office; Shane McNatton who is challenging Incumbent Ken Schmalz for Alderman at Large and Mayoral Candidate, Jerry Unruh.

At the Thief River Falls School District Service Center, Josh Balmer, #1114 LaBree Avenue North in Thief River Falls, has added his name to the growing list of candidates for the Board of Education, including newcomer Chris Melbye and incumbents Josh Witlow and Misty Hempel. The top three vote-getters will win seats on the school board in November.
