Two in Custody in Connection with Recent Vehicle Break-ins 10 Feb 17

A string of thefts from motor vehicles in Thief River Falls over the past three weeks may have ended following several arrests Thursday.

A Law Enforcement Center spokesperson says shortly before 11:30am, Officers and Deputies from the Thief River Falls Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Department served a search warrant on a rural residence.

The warrant was in conjunction with an investigation into a series of thefts and burglaries in and around the Thief River Falls area.  Numerous items believed to be stolen in a three county area were recovered at the scene, including 2 firearms.

Phillip David Tronvet and Jenson Leigh Johnston, both 25 years old, were arrested and are in custody at the Pennington County Jail pending charges.
