One person was injured this morning in a three vehicle accident, three miles south of Thief River Falls on Highway #32, in Rocksbury Township.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 19 year old Jordan Harbott, of Thief River Falls, was injured when the car he was driving collided with an on-coming semi driven by 66 year old Michael Dean Skibicki, also from Thief River Falls.
Harbott was taken to Sanford Regional Medical Center in Thief River Falls with injuries officers at the scene described as non-life threatening. Skibicki – along with the driver of the third vehicle – 61 year old Cheryl Seeger of Red Lake Falls, escaped injury.
State Troopers say the Harbott vehicle, a 2013 Dodge Dart was north bound on the Highway when the Dodge crossed the center-line, colliding head-on with the south bound semi. Officers say the Seeger car, a Buick Regal, suffered damage from crash debris.
All three drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, reported at 7:15 this morning. Officers were assisted at the scene by the Thief River Falls Fire Department.
