Closed City Council Session on Property Swap 19 Apr 17

Not what we thought it was going to be.

The Media and even some City Department Heads found themselves on the outside of a closed City Council Session last night, that turned out to be a small property swap and not a conversation about the sale of the City Municipal Services Building.

After meeting in closed session the Council agreed to a three year proposal to swap a small parcel of private land for city land to allow the construction of a single family home in the area of Sherwood Forest.

Meanwhile there was no mention of the pending sale critical to the Digi Key expansion, even as the City Electric Department does their best to relocate services ahead of an already established July 31st deadline.
