Millennials Now the Most Targeted Phone-scam Group 25 Apr 17

A recent report from Truecaller says that more than 22 million Americans lost $9.5 billion in robocall scams last year.

On average, the typical scam victim lost around $430.  The report showed that millennials are the most targeted group, which doesn’t surprise the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota’s Dan Hendrickson who says younger, inexperienced individuals are often the target of scams.

Hendrickson recommends if you receive calls from an unknown or out-of-state number, it’s best not answer and let the call go to voicemail.  He says if you think you’re being scammed, report it to the BBB right away.
