Pennington County Road Construction in July 28 Jun 17

Motorists be advised, the end of the up-coming July 4th Holiday will mark the beginning of a number of road construction projects in Pennington County.

County Engineer Mike Flaagen says construction projects are expected to start July 6th weather permitting; west, east, north and south of Thief River Falls. Flaagen says roads will remain open with the help of flaggers and pilot cars – with activity for the next three weeks.

Along with overlay work, shoulder paving is also scheduled on State Aid Highway #3 from St. Hilaire to Highway #59, with motorists advised to be on the watch for road workers and expect delays in construction zones.
