The Twins enter the night a half-game behind the Angels for the second AL Wild Card.

(Eden Prairie, MN) — The Vikings are gearing up for their second preseason game on Friday in Seattle against the Seahawks. The Vikes opened the exhibition slate with a 17-10 win in Buffalo last Thursday.

(Seattle, WA) — The Minnesota Lynx will visit the Seattle Storm tomorrow night before hosting Indiana on Friday. The Lynx will then travel to New York on Sunday for their third game of the week. The Lynx sit at 21-and-4 after Friday’s 70-64 loss to LA.

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Timberwolves will kick off the regular season on the road against the Spurs. Minnesota will take on San Antonio October 18th at the AT&T Center. The ‘Wolves’ first game at the newly remodeled Target Center is against the Utah Jazz October 20th. The team will play 25 nationally televised games throughout the season.

(Undated) — Toxicology results show Tiger Woods had five different drugs in his system at the time of his arrest in May. Woods tested positive for Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien and THC when he was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Woods had the charges reduced last week and agreed to enter a diversion program.

(Undated) — WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Ric Flair is resting after surgery for an undisclosed medical condition. TMZ says the 68-year-old’s family is by his side as he recovers. Before surgery, Flair was in a medically induced coma. Pro Wrestling Sheet previously reported that Flair was dealing with a heart-related issue.
