School Board Unveiling New Transportation Equipment 08 Sep 17

An early start for the Thief River Falls School Board Monday, including the unveiling of New Transportation Equipment and a promise to renew the already diminished supply of school calendars.

The Board will meet at 5:30 in anticipation of a presentation from Transportation Director Ronnie Skallet.  At a previous meeting Skallet informed the Board about the impending arrival of a new school bus that almost does everything but drive itself.  Skallet is excited about the arrival and Monday he will show off the new addition to the fleet.

The Board will also hear reports on site plans from Challenger Elementary School and Lincoln High School from school administrators. Superintendent Bradley Bergstrom will give his report on upcoming events and Tanya Monson-Ek will give the Business Manager’s report.  Because of the demand, the District has also announced they are in the process of printing additional school calendars that will be made available to the public The meeting gets underway at the DSC.
