Boutique Air Boasts Thousands of Customers in 2017 04 Oct 17

On track for a 100% increase in 2017 after an increase of 229% in 2016, Boutique continues to fly high from the Thief River Falls Regional Airport, the commercial air carrier boarding some 7,000 passengers in the first 6 months of this year.

Airport Manager Joe Hedrick says the airline has maximized reliability and comfort along with a personal touch that is filling flights 7 days a week

Voucher Rate Tickets, local rental car service and free parking are also attractive to many passengers, along with a new Inner-Line Agreement for those flying United Airlines.

As far as air cargo, a 7th freight flight has been added with the expectation contractors will be moving up to the larger C.R.J. 200 in the future. That is the heaviest freight aircraft the current runway configuration can handle.

Hedrick says that means preliminary plans for a runway extension are at least on the long range drawing board, with the Airport Commission Determined to keep pace with demand.
