Injuries Reported in Wednesday Morning Accident 01 Nov 17

A Red Lake Falls woman was injured this morning in an accident on Highway #59, South of Thief River Falls.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Tina Louise Anderson, 44, was injured when the car she was driving went off the highway and struck a tree.
Anderson was taken by ambulance to Sanford Medical Center / Thief River Falls with injuries officers at the scene describe as non-life threatening.

Anderson was north bound on the highway when her Chevy S-10 veered off the roadway on an s-curve in Rocksbury Township. A second, unrelated non-injury accident also occurred in the same area at the same time this morning, State Troopers reporting roadways covered with snow and ice.

Anderson was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, reported at 8:46am. Thief River Falls Fire Fighters assisted with traffic control at the scene.
