4 Injured in Red Lake County Roll-Over 29 Nov 17

Four people were injured in a one vehicle roll-over, overnight in Red Lake County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol; the driver / 19 year old Latisha Lamson of Thief River Falls was injured along with 3 passengers in her vehicle; 21 year old Charles Carter, also of Thief River Falls, 25 year old Genekikia Lamson of Golden Valley and 9 year old Theresa Lamson of Rapid City, South Dakota.

All were taken to Sanford Hospital Thief River Falls with injuries officers at the scene describe as non-life threatening. A fifth passenger – Kenyatta Elliston of New Hope was also taken to Sanford although no injury is reported.

State Troopers say Lamson’s 2000 Ford Explorer was southbound on Highway #59 in Emardville Township when she swerved to avoid a deer, veering off the road; rolling the vehicle.

The driver and all passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, reported just before 9pm last night. Officers say alcohol was *not* a factor in the accident.

State Troopers were assisted at the scene by Red Lake County Fire and EMS.
