Dangerously Cold Temperatures Expected in NWMN 29 Dec 17

A wind chill advisory until 6pm tonight, to be replaced by a wind chill warning that extends all the way through out the weekend into the New Year. 

That from the National Weather Service in Grand Forks warning that dangerously cold wind chills will dip to 25 below today, as much as 50 below into the weekend across the entire listening area.

An arctic surge is moving into the Northern Plains bringing conditions that could result in frostbite to exposed skin within as little as 10 minutes.

Motorists advised to take every precaution while traveling with only the best in Winter Weather Gear enough to provide protection to anyone recreating or working in the extreme cold.
