Two in Custody After Shots Fired Near Badger 22 Jan 18

The Roseau County Sheriff’s department is investigating a “Serious Felony Altercation” over the weekend.

Sheriff Steve Gust reports shots fired in the altercation Saturday at a home north of Badger – the incident reported to 911 Dispatch at 2:30am. 

30 year old Brandon Peterson of Roseau and 35 year old Jordon Foss of Badger, are being held at the Roseau County Jail pending their first court appearance. 

Sheriff Gust says their investigation shows shots fired at the home, both suspects leaving the scene in separate vehicles, the situation continuing along a gravel road just miles from the home.

Gust says both men were taken into custody without incident after Law Enforcement arrived on the scene.

The case under investigation by Roseau County with the Minnesota State Patrol and Roseau Police assisting at the scene.
