    Failed for lack of a motion … “No” to extended hours to serve alcohol at city bars and “no” to early service of alcohol on Sundays in Thief River Falls. A proposed change in City Code failed this month after City Councilmen did not bring forward a motion on a second reading of change in ordinance that would have allowed bars to serve, by special permit, alcohol until 2:00am with service on Sunday as early as 10:00am.
